The University of Zurich and the SNSF offer competitive postdoctoral fellowships. Other options for postdoctoral funding include the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship​, the postdoctoral fellowship of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation for candidates based in Germany, and the postdoctoral scholarship of the Fyssen Foundation for candidates based in France.
