I am currently in the final semester of my bachelor's degree in biodiversity. I have always had a keen and general interest in biology, and I recently realized that evolution and behavior are something that personally fascinate me. In my project I am investigating how social impact and responsiveness differ during aggressive interactions across genetic lines that differ in aggression levels.

I am interested in sexual selection, aggression, and social behaviour. For my PhD, I will focus on the evolutionary dynamics of social interactions, particularly aggression. My research aims to explore how plasticity in competitive interactions drives the evolution of aggressiveness and shapes adaptive strategies. By using Drosophila prolongata as a model system, I will investigate the interplay between social environment and phenotypic plasticity in mediating responses to selective pressures, and how these interactions influence the evolution of aggression and related traits.
